While working at a global technology firm, I identified a growing gap in how employees were leveraging LinkedIn — not just as a social platform, but as a strategic tool for personal branding, professional development, and business growth.
To bridge that gap, I spearheaded a strategic partnership with LinkedIn, working closely with their team to create a tailored, company-wide approach to LinkedIn education and engagement.
As part of a global rollout, I created and managed a series of workshops across London, Frankfurt, New York, Singapore and Sydney. Workshops were designed to have employees understand the importance of LinkedIn and the benefits for themselves professionally and the business.

Tailored Workshops for Real Results
Together with LinkedIn representatives, I designed and delivered a series of interactive workshops, specifically tailored to different internal departments — from sales and marketing to technical and HR teams. These sessions focused on:
Building a standout profile
Making meaningful connections
Sharing thought leadership
Using LinkedIn as a business development tool
Showcasing company culture and employer branding
Each workshop was designed to be relevant, engaging, and immediately applicable to participants' day-to-day roles.
Supporting Resources: The LinkedIn eBook
To support the programme, I also created an internal eBook full of practical guidance and self-help tips. This included:
How-to guides for profile optimisation
Content creation tips
Connection etiquette
FAQs and troubleshooting
Department-specific advice for using LinkedIn effectively
The eBook became a go-to internal resource and extended the value of the workshops well beyond the sessions themselves.
A Professional Finish
To help attendees present their best selves online, each workshop concluded with a professional photography session. Employees walked away not only with new skills and confidence, but with a high-quality headshot — ensuring their profile truly represented their personal brand and professional value.
Lasting Impact
This initiative helped boost internal confidence around LinkedIn, aligned employees with the company’s brand externally, and supported wider business goals such as talent attraction, thought leadership, and social selling. Most importantly, it empowered individuals to take control of their professional presence online.
💡 A small investment in training, tools, and confidence went a long way in shaping how the business — and its people — showed up in the digital world.
