A few days ago I went Integrated Live
A super cool event focused on Digital Marketing, social media, and all the bits in between. I attend every year, and this year didn't disappoint. There were two highlights for me, and one of them was simply called 'The Headshot Guy' - and yep you guessed it, they focus on headshots only, and they do it extremely well.
I'm always talking about the importance of getting your Linkedin Profile photograph right.
And these guys were talking my language. So I got in the Que and waited my turn to get a professional snap, well it would be rude not to!
Fifteen Minutes
The photographer put me at ease instantly, and I soon became unaware that I was getting my photograph taken in the middle of a trade show. With simple commands and instructions, I quickly found my groove and started smiling, moving my shoulder, leaning forward and doing all the things I was asked to create that perfect Head Shot.
The entire process took all of 15 minutes, and at the end, I had a small collection of images to take home and use on all my social media channels. #Awesome!

My headshot looks great, if I do say so myself! I've already added it to my LinkedIn Profile. The photographer gave me a good tip, and said the composition of the photograph would have been more balanced if I was wearing a lighter coloured blouse because of my dark hair.
