Do women really like the colour pink? What's the big deal?
According to the Design Love Website the colour Pink has some of the greatest qualities, (Femininity, Childhood, Love, Romantic, Eroticism, Calm, Relax and Contentment) it has a limited usage in brand design due to the limitation of its appeal to society as a whole. Pink is largely used in brands related to Female, Children and Romance.
Are you bothered by brands using the colour pink to market directly to women? Or do you think it's a stereotype which is totally outdated? Should Big Brands be rethinking the way they market to not only Women but Men as well?
