Exploring Wix’s AI Tools: A simple but smart addition for content creators

My website is built on Wix.com, and while I’ve always appreciated its drag-and-drop ease and flexibility, what’s really impressed me lately is the AI functionality that’s been quietly rolled out across the platform. For someone who writes a lot, juggles content creation, and likes things to run efficiently, some of these tools have made a real difference.

AI for Meta Descriptions

Let’s start with the basics — meta descriptions. This might seem like small things, but anyone who's managed a blog knows how time-consuming (and weirdly difficult) they can be to write well. Thankfully, Wix now includes AI tools that help generate these with a single click.

  • The meta description tool offers concise, SEO-friendly summaries you can tweak or use as-is — very handy when you’re managing multiple pages.

These little helpers save time and get it 90% right, and that’s a huge win.

AI Image Creator: Still in Beta, But Full of Potential

Now here’s the one that really caught my attention: Wix’s AI Image Creator. It’s still in beta, and yes, it’s a little raw and basic — but for anyone looking to avoid overused stock photos or just add a unique visual flair, it’s a fun and promising tool. Here’s how it works:

  1. Describe your image – Type in what you want. Be as detailed or creative as you like.

  2. Choose a style – Photo, Illustration, 3D, Packshot, Painting, Sketch, Fantasy or Cartoon.

  3. Click “Create Image” – The AI gets to work.

  4. Pick your format – Choose your preferred size or layout for easy integration.

  5. Insert into your blog – Done.

It’s a bit hit-or-miss (beta mode, after all), but I’ve had some surprisingly usable and creative results. For blog headers, product concepts, or just visual placeholders, it adds a whole new layer of creativity to the platform. I used the same description "Office Worker in a modern office environment working on computer" for each style. And while this description doesn't work for all of the styles, it's overall not too bad.

Final Thoughts

Wix’s integration of AI isn’t revolutionary yet — but it’s useful. It speeds up the little tasks that slow you down and gives content creators extra tools to polish and enhance their work. I’m looking forward to seeing how these tools evolve over time. If you’re already using Wix and haven’t explored these features, give them a try. You might be surprised at how much time — and brainpower — you save.
